day by day

2.54am, I have a combination of love sickness and insomnia! But I’m leaning toward love.
Can’t truly explain how I feel. Alhamdulillah. Very content and pleased with my current state.
Living my life in the now is important.

The past few days were in one word blurry :)

Friday night I was the dj at a Moroccan style party. The celebration was for Sharmia who was turning 29 and also had attained her honours degree, the party was fun but let me add I could not see anything??? Okay let me explain> it was ladies only party so I had to be there but invisible. :) They placed my setup behind a 1.8m barrier where I could literally not see the ladies (pretty cool hey). so what do I recall okay seeing hands in the air , shouting, crying laughing crying , belly dancers, massages, henna tattoo artists, speeches, crying, basically good clean fun and let me tell you if you think we guys can party you ain't seen nothing yet or in this case aint heard nothing yet. Looking forward to doing another gig like this. IA

Saturday morning work mostly running around for next day’s event preparations, then thereafter spent the day with a very special person (who is going to be my wife)IA , and started to fall even harder..! Briefly > drove around the peninsula and discovering new things about each other > day was priceless.
Got home to all my uncles, aunties and their spouses having a general meeting of the many positive outcomes my parents also announced their intention to go on hajj. IA my uncle also announced that he and his family would also be going on Hajj this year, the other uncle announced plans for Umra starting end march. the family meeting resulted in a date being set for a huge slamang family clan gathering to join the Hearts of family members basically.

Sunday was hectic had a morning gig at the Masjied hall where I promised to dj for a wedding, and of course it was the same day as our Nasheed event so the morning we spent setting up the hall the rushing home picking up equip setup up Masjied hall jam till 3pm then back home shower and made me look pretty then off to Nasheed gig where the temperature was about 35 degrees lol
the event was awesome to say the least , fun was had by all and I was completely shocked at the
level of competition and the general feel at the event was good and positive. Alhamdulillah. I was on the stage with Taj having the best of time fun fun fun.
okay so after the event it was clean-up time. then I dropped the biggest bouquet of flowers by my future wife. I was tired a little tatie but what’s new :) she loved them... so did her mum!

Monday I went to eye clinic and was told my operation was successful and I would not need to return to the clinic unless I see a grey curtain or flashing beams...
Spent the rest of the day dotting some i's and crossing some t's. surprise that I went to my old bank account and was told I had some dormant funds which I could receive in 32 days time. & I’m Rica compliant now :)

Tuesday very positive day at office we all we chatting about the Nasheed event the past Sunday feedback & constructive criticism. and I know so much more happened on tues but as I said blurry right now will update as I recall

Wednesday also a cool day spent about almost an hour debating a Christian about the Muslims understanding of God, was very interesting.
the rest of the day was blurry mostly prepping for the weekends opening of our township Islamic community complex. More to follow
